Okay, so I've done precious little traveling in the last 12 months since my last entries. But, hey, there has been some.
This summer, I flew to Oregon to visit my sister Brenda and her husband Duke, my niece Andi, her husband Jon, and her lively daughter Summer. Nice, albeit short trip. Looooooong trip home due to airline delays. But all in all a good trip. Glad to see everyone up there and meet Jon and Summer for the first time.
Just a short time later I flew to the Chicago area to see Olivia Santone's final performance with Missoula Children's Theater summer touring group. Just a quick over-nighter, but highly enjoyable.
Both times I flew as cheaply as possible...Spirit Airlines. So called because you don't see a ghost of service on the flights. Bring your own food, beverage, blanket, pillow, etc etc etc. Nice folks. No issues, just very very budget.
It may be a while before these Lambs are on the go again. We'll see what life brings.
